In addition to designing and building pedals and preamps I also have over a decade of experience repairing and servicing all kinds of musical instruments and equipment.
My workshop in Bairnsdale is now open to public by appointment only and I also offer a pickup and drop off service for the local area.

Please keep in mind this is a one man show and I do have other commitments during the day so I'm not always available for calls.
Prices do not include strings. You are welcome to supply your own strings or purchase from us. We currently offer a selection of D'addaro strings for electric, acoustic and bass, strings for other instruments are available to order.
Restring & Clean
All instrument restrings include:
- Full clean and polish.
- Fretboard conditioning.
- Fret polish.
- String replacement.

Add $15 for 12 strings.

Full Service & Setup
Includes everything in the restring service above and:
- Deep clean and polish.
- Set neck relief.
- Adjust action/string height.
- Calibrate intonation.
- Electronics check over and clean.
- Hardware check and service.
Electric Guitar - $75
Add $30 for locking/Floyd Rose tremolo.
Acoustic Guitar - $85
Add $15 for 12 strings.
Bass Guitar - $75
Fret Levelling & Full Service
Includes everything in the services above and:
- Fret levelling and recrowning.
- Full fret polish and buffing.-
- File nut slots to match string gauge and fret height.
- Neck shimming for bolt-on instruments if required.
Electric Guitar - $160
Add $30 for Floyd Rose/locking tremolo.
Acoustic Guitar - $175
Add $25 for 12 strings.
Bass Guitar - $160
Refrets
Refrets are assessed case by case. Please get in contact with details on your instrument for a quote.
Electronics and Other
My hourly rate for fault diagnosis and repair is $88 per hour charged in 15 minute increments with a 30 min minimum for most jobs. This does not include any replacement parts. See below for set prices on some common jobs and feel free to get in contact for an estimate.
Jack Replacement (Guitars and most pedals) - $30 + parts. (Hollow and semi-hollow guitars are usually a little more).
Pickup Replacement (Electric instruments) - $30-$40 per pickup.
Potentiometer (Pot) replacement (Guitars and most pedals) - $30 + parts.
Switch Replacement - $35 + parts.
